Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Multilingual Accounting Specialist to join our team at BruntWork.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience as a bookkeeper, preferably with advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reconciling bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and completeness;
  • Investigating discrepancies and resolving them by locating and verifying past transactions;
  • Accurately entering historical vendor invoices, deposits, and other financial transactions into QuickBooks Desktop;
  • Verifying and matching deposits in QuickBooks Desktop to ensure accurate financial reporting;
  • Reviewing and entering vendor invoices to ensure all payments are logged correctly;
  • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate financial records.

This is a remote position with a flexible schedule, requiring 4 hours of work per day within the hours of 8am-4pm Springfield, OR Time. We offer an estimated annual salary of $65,000 based on industry standards for this role and location.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you should possess:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper with expertise in QuickBooks Desktop;
  • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop, including reconciliation, transaction matching, and data entry;
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reconciliation;
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage and process large volumes of historical transactions effectively;
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data;
  • Excellent English and Spanish communication skills.
