We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to join our team at Amadeus. As a key member of our Development and Platform Enablement team, you will be responsible for maintaining and providing production support for applications hosted on the cloud.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to cloud-hosted applications.
- Support release activities, including coordinating with teams and performing proof-of-concepts in new technologies.
- Perform daily health checks of various systems and handle platform incident requests.
- Release software components, automate manual tasks, and suggest improvements in existing operation processes.
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience with Openshift, Java, Linux, Jboss, Apache, Kubernetes, and good understanding of certificates.
- Basic understanding of networking and ability to multitask and work flexible hours.
- Experience in the airport/travel domain is a plus, and willingness to travel is required.
