Electrical Sales Professional

At TE Connectivity Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Sales Professional to join our team. As an Account Manager for Electrical Products, you will be responsible for selling our products, systems, or services to customers in assigned geographic territories, industries, or accounts.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and meet sales forecasts and key metrics.
- Develop an understanding of the position of customers in the market, their products, points of difference, and competitive landscape.
- Generate demand by identifying opportunities within assigned territories by specifying TE products, carrying out trainings, technical presentations, and seminars.
- Establish and build strong working relationships with customer stakeholders.
- Prepare commercial bids/tenders, negotiate contracts, and close agreements, maximizing profits, working with BDMs, PMs, product specialists, and application engineers to define technical solutions in accordance with customer and product specifications.
- Follow up on contracts and purchase orders, working with customer care, operations, and finance areas.
As a Sales Engineer for Distribution Channels, you will be responsible for managing key accounts, selling electrical products in distribution channels, electrical contractors, and utilities. You will need to have a proven work experience as a Key Account Manager and solid experience with Salesforce software.
Key qualifications and specialist training required include a degree in Electrical Engineering with a BA/BS/MBA in Sales/Marketing Management, foreign language proficiency in English, and skills in giving technical and sales presentations, excellent communication and sales acumen, and the ability to specify products and discuss technically with customer applications.
Experience required includes overall experience of not less than 6 years as a Sales Engineer, managing key accounts, selling electrical products in distribution channels, electrical contractors, and utilities.
Additional information: The successful candidate will need to travel extensively in the region, with a frequency of up to 60% of the time traveling. It is mandatory to be located in Bogotá.
