Job Title: QA Analyst I

Location: Bogota, Colombia

Model of Work: Hybrid

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Analyst I to join our team at Quorum Software. As a QA Analyst I, you will be responsible for designing, documenting, executing, and reporting on quality testing of our software. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, modify, and execute test cases as an individual contributor, and review and approve test cases of peers
  • Create and update Test Plans and other guidelines around testing activities
  • Perform system, exploratory, regression, and acceptance level testing
  • Demonstrate understanding and application of standard concepts, practices, and procedures for software testing
  • Record and report failures and bugs and assist in validating fixes
  • Successfully complete individual deliverables with general supervision
  • Document possible improvements or challenges with established work processes
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Able to mentor or lead small teams on established activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, mathematics, information systems, or computer science
  • 1-2 years in software testing
  • Experienced with black box testing and collaborating closely with developers and business analysts
  • Able to create and utilize Master Test Plans that capture scope and strategy for release testing
  • Able to mentor or lead small teams on established activities
  • Aptitude to learn new applications that support the energy sector

Additional Details:

  • Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver's License Verification, and Passport/ID validation
  • Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Colombia is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position
  • Current professional card or registration in Colombia (if applicable): The successful candidate will be required to present their professional card or registration information if the role is deemed to be regulated
  • Onboarding Medical: The successful candidate will be required to undergo an onboarding medical examination prior to commencement of employment, in accordance with Colombian legislation
