Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Security Application Engineer I to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our Sales and Engineering teams, you will play a critical role in supporting pre-sales and post-sales projects with technical activities such as takeoff, drawings, bill of materials, and design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support on Request for Proposals working on takeoffs, bill of material creation, pricing, etc.
  • Create pre-design drawings (Spots & Dots), shop drawings, submittal drawings, and As-Built drawings based on client standards and/or markups after site survey.
  • Create post-sales design drawings and engineering packages.
  • Provide internal and external engineering teams with support on medium and high complex projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
  • 0-2 years of experience in engineering-related activities.
  • Intermediate knowledge in AutoCAD.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Effective and professional communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal/external customers and peers.
  • General business level in English (B2 and above).
  • Willingness and ability to learn electronic security design best practices and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Revit experience is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of fire alarm and security system principles, such as access control, video, intrusion, and building automation.
  • Basic knowledge of low-voltage electrical system schematics and diagrams.
