Job Title: Junior Manager

Position Summary

As a 4PL Junior Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operational management of our key clients, acting as the primary liaison and supervisor for our 4PL service providers. You will ensure seamless and efficient execution of customer service activities and related logistics tasks, continuously seeking opportunities for operational improvements to enhance service delivery and drive overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure client SLAs are followed and executed, building and maintaining effective operational set-ups and procedures.
  • Report deviations and ongoing issues that can affect operations.
  • Follow and maintain control of the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Continuously strive to keep systems updated, improve data quality, service levels, and productivity.
  • Generate operational reports requested by clients.
  • Supervise client internal users on shipment status and ensure all necessary procedures are carried out timely and correctly.
We're Looking For:
  • At least 5 years of experience in operations or customer services management in international transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding.
  • 4PL operational experience is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the freight forwarding business.
  • Bachelor's Degree in international commerce, administration, economy, engineering careers, or related areas.
  • English and Spanish proficiency, both spoken and written.
  • Good planning, evaluation, and execution skills.
  • Positive, proactive, and persistent attitude.
  • Good networking skills.
  • Result-oriented and self-driven.
  • Highly motivated with a sense of urgency.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to engage others in supporting operation and customer services growth.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Ability to form and motivate a team.
