International Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Logistics Manager to join our team at Perfiles y Soluciones Logísticas S.A.S. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily functions of assigned accounts and ensuring exceptional service at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Satisfaction: Enhance client services to establish our company as a preferred provider and industry leader.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Team Integration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive organizational growth and development.
- Procedure Adherence: Ensure compliance with procedures while managing customer requests, including order status, shipping, and product receipt.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain customer-specific performance scorecards to identify improvement areas and drive business results.
- Project Contributions: Assist with various non-routine responsibilities and growth initiatives to support business objectives.
- Daily Operations: Manage planning, quoting, data entry, documentation, tracking, and invoicing for air and ocean shipments, including imports and exports.
- Compliance Management: Ensure freight and documentation meet security, TSA, and other government requirements, including AES and ISF filing.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate import/export compliance records in line with government regulations.
- Cargo Tracking: Monitor cargo movement and keep customers informed based on their expectations through exception management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 5+ years in freight forwarding, focusing on customer service or process planning.
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of US regulatory compliance for global import and export activities. Experience with hazardous materials is a plus.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office and capable of quickly learning our company's TMS.
- Skills: Strong analytical and organizational abilities with excellent multitasking and pressure-handling capabilities.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem Solver: Critical thinker with a knack for identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Team Player: Committed to fostering a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
