About the Job

We are looking for a motivated Senior Accountant to join our team at Scout. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Accounts Receivable: Oversee the verification, posting, and collection of all accounts receivable. Coordinate cash, check, ACH, and wire deposits. Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions.
  2. Maintain Accounts Payable: Establish and update vendor records in Business Central. Review invoices for accuracy and approval. Process payments and manage vendor relationships.
  3. Sustain General Ledger: Organize financial records within Business Central. Prepare and post journal entries for month-end processes. Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures and reconciliations.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Proven leadership and supervision skills.
  • Effective communication across departments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
