We are seeking an experienced Power BI Business Solutions Developer to join our team at Somewhere. This is a remote position, available only for candidates within the Latin America region.

Job Description:

A successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data modeling solutions using Power BI and the Microsoft Power Platform to meet clients' financial reporting and planning needs.

The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in Power BI development, with a strong understanding of DAX, SQL, and data modeling concepts. They should also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with clients to define project requirements and deliver high-quality results.

This role involves meeting with clients to collect and define requirements for financial reporting and planning solutions, building aesthetically appealing and accurate dashboards using Power BI, as well as troubleshooting and managing issues with dashboards and similar tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Meeting with clients to understand their requirements for financial reporting and planning solutions
  • Designing and implementing data modeling solutions using Power BI and the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Building dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for business decision-making
  • Troubleshooting and managing issues with dashboards and similar tools
  • Providing ongoing support for solutions delivered to clients
Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of experience in Power BI development
  • Strong understanding of DAX, SQL, and data modeling concepts
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and its alignment with business objectives
Estimated Salary:

$1,500 - $1,800 per month
