Senior Manager, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusions Programs

This role requires a seasoned professional to lead the execution of key diversity, equity, and inclusion programs within Scotiabank's Global Operations and Technology division. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and will be responsible for delivering strategic initiatives that foster an inclusive work environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to drive organizational change. Strong business acumen and project management experience are essential, as well as the ability to analyze data and identify trends in diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute key diversity, equity, and inclusion programs to drive cultural transformation and organizational change;
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the Director, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion on program design and execution;
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders to advance Scotiabank's diversity, equity, and inclusion agenda;
  • Analyze data and identify trends in diversity, equity, and inclusion to inform strategic decisions;
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote an inclusive work environment;
  • Collaborate with the DEI team to develop and execute quarterly plans and objectives;
  • Support the Director, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in managing the GO&T DEI budget and preparing financial reports.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion, human resources, or a related field;
  • Proven track record of executing strategic initiatives and driving cultural transformation;
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills;
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends in diversity, equity, and inclusion;
  • Strong business acumen and project management experience;
  • CHRL or other HR designation, or in progress is an asset.

Compensation:

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
