Role Overview
This position plays a vital role in the success of Global Human Resources Technology by ensuring that specific business objectives and initiatives are effectively executed in alignment with the team's strategic goals. All activities must comply with relevant regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Foster a customer-centric culture to enhance client relationships and leverage broader organizational knowledge and systems. Establish strong partnerships with user and technology stakeholders.
- Provide strategic direction for the design and implementation of SAP SuccessFactors (SFSF) initiatives, enhancing the effectiveness of business analysis for SFSF applications.
- Address configuration challenges until a final production solution is validated, which includes conducting thorough research, defining user requirements, and collaborating with project team members.
- Assist in developing deployment strategies for projects and routine operations, ensuring compatibility with existing HR systems.
- Act as a primary contact for security assessments, collaborating with various departments to provide necessary information.
- Enhance team capabilities through knowledge transfer and planning relevant training to uphold high standards.
- Ensure management is kept informed and escalate issues as necessary.
- Consider the Bank's risk appetite and culture in daily activities and decision-making.
- Strive for efficient operations in line with Scotiabank's values and Code of Conduct, ensuring adherence to operational, compliance, and conduct risk obligations.
- Promote a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive workplace.
- Engage in project implementations by defining business requirements and processes to avoid impacts on current applications.
- Continuously enhance knowledge of the Division's strategies, risk management practices, product offerings, and evolving technology to provide effective solutions to business lines.
- Senior Manager, Solution Design & Fieldglass
- Offer configuration expertise and support for SAP SuccessFactors applications as needed.
- Collaborate across teams to communicate the impact of change requests and new requirements.
- Lead discussions with business users, providing guidance on configuration and best practices.
- Work with Lab members to understand configuration impacts and offer guidance based on SAP SuccessFactors best practices.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including at least at the Director level.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze cause-and-effect relationships.
- Effectively manage and deliver multiple priorities within tight timelines.
- A degree in IT Business/Management or a related engineering discipline.
- 3-5+ years of experience with SAP SuccessFactors, particularly Employee Central.
- Experience in at least one large-scale SAP SuccessFactors implementation project.
- Certification in SAP SuccessFactors, with a preference for Employee Central.
- Ability to guide business analysts on solution designs for SAP SuccessFactors.
- Capable of working independently and at an abstract level under general guidance.
- Familiarity with JIRA.
- Understanding of HR business processes.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
