About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Liaison Specialist to join our team in Bogotá.
The successful candidate will assist the Senior Political Affairs Officer in work related to the Mission's mandate for rural reform and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with host country stakeholders and other multilateral organizations in situations of conflict prevention, mediation, and peacebuilding matters.
- Assist the Senior Political Affairs Officer in work related to the Mission's mandate for rural reform and development.
- Maintain regular contacts at the working level with various offices of the Government of Colombia, Mission headquarters and field offices, civil society organizations, and UN agencies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
