About the Role
- Responsibilities:
- Oversee production operations efficiency and standardization.
- Ensure compliance with production plans and product quality, as well as direct supervision of line personnel.
- Analyze and evaluate process improvements to reduce defects and scrap or improve yields.
- Follow established procedures for each operation and maintain organized and clean work areas at all times.
- Participate in or lead problem-solving processes related to increasing trends in complaints, defects, scrap, or low productivity.
- Provide feedback to colleagues.
- Support employee safety initiatives, such as rotation programs for line personnel, use of safety equipment, and safety awareness programs.
- Monitor and update department metrics: Yield, Efficiency, Plan Compliance, and Quality.
- Lead Operational Excellence efforts in your shift.
- Drive efforts to improve learning curves, lines ramp-up with Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost metrics achieved.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or advanced studies in a related field.
- English Level: B2 (70-79%).
- Desired knowledge: Problem-Solving Methodologies, Lean Tools (5S, CQE, APICs certification desirable).
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
