About the Role

Thales is a leading provider of digital security solutions, trusted by businesses and governments worldwide. As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering complex solutions that meet the highest standards of security and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional engineering project teams to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure technical alignment with authorized design and guarantee the quality of the solution.
  • Manage the overall solution delivery process, adhering to Thales' internal DDQS methodology.
  • Contribute to defining customer specifications, ensuring clarity and facilitating the validation process.
  • Define project delivery expectations, outlining deliverables, documents, guides, and training requirements.
  • Optimize software project resources to meet budget constraints.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, technical lead, and successful delivery of complex solutions.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (B2).
  • Proficiency in PM management tools, including Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.
  • Knowledge of engineering tools, such as Mercurial/Bitbucket, Jenkins CI/CD, Rest/Soap exchange protocols, Fortify/Sonar, and Nexus IQ.
  • Software development and validation best practices.
Additional Requirements
  • Availability to travel internationally within LATAM at least 30% of the time.
  • Colombian citizenship or work permit.
  • Hybrid role, office-based in Bogotá, Colombia.
