Main Responsibilities- Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute test plans to identify problems and their causes in our digital products.
- Test Automation: Implement the use of appropriate tools to automate testing procedures.
- Defect Identification and Documentation: Identify, analyze, and document defects in our digital products, following good practices in the area.
- Project Tracking: Document defects through project tracking software, such as Jira, respecting established methodologies.
- Testing Procedures: Execute testing procedures within the framework of the general project planning, adjusted to scope and delivery dates.
- Documentation Review: Thoroughly review documentation available for each production to ensure full compliance with requirements, minimize risks, and ensure high-quality deliveries.
- Teamwork and Communication: Develop a culture oriented to service and results, with emphasis on on-time and high-quality deliveries, and encourage true teamwork, both within and outside the area.
- Client Management: Demonstrate a broad management of the internal client, attention, and solution of common problems, understanding that we are complementary areas of the same service.
- Problem Escalation: Escalate to the QA Specialist and QA Supervisor any problem in the entry of information that could prevent the environmental conditions for the performance of the QA task.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Be open to the assignment of varied work within the QA area and communicate clearly and effectively the status of the projects under QA control.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate actively in project meetings where fundamental aspects for the execution of the QA task are defined, attend retrospective meetings, and be ready to share experiences and work collaboratively on different points of improvement, applicable in future productions.
- Process Improvement: Proactively propose changes in work processes, with focus on productivity, and participate in different training courses to acquire cross-project/technology skills.
- DE&I: Participate in the different DE&I actions proposed by the company.
- Education: Preferably, student or graduate of careers linked to the business, such as Informatic Systems, Systems Engineer, Degree in Communication, Graphic or Multimedia Designer, Marketing, Advertisement, or related, or demonstrate equivalent experience.
- Computer Skills: Advanced management of Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS, MS Office, and Adobe packages, web browsers, mobile apps, and online communication tools.
- Project Tracker Tools: Preferably, some knowledge in project tracker tools, such as JIRA.
- Repositories and Version Managers: Preferably, some knowledge in the use of repositories and version managers, such as SVN, GIT.
- Agile Methodologies: Preferably, some knowledge of agile methodologies.
- Testing Methodologies: Preferably, knowledge in testing methodologies.
- Language Skills: Advanced level of written and oral English.
- Commitment to Quality: Commitment to the quality of work and results.
- Autonomy and Initiative: Ability to develop tasks under minimal supervision, with initiative and good judgment.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and requirements.
- Analytical and Methodical Thinking: Analytical and methodical thinking to identify and solve problems.
