We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team in Skjern or Østbirk, Denmark. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 11 employees and 5 external consultants developing state-of-the-art embedded HW solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading embedded hardware and power supply teams optimizing architectural design, scaling via partnerships on hardware design, and bringing a mix of practical experience and theoretical knowledge within Embedded hardware design, systems engineering, and hardware architecture.
You will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the Products organization and the full VELUX organization, especially our Supply organization (Procurement, Production, Quality etc.).
Your responsibilities will include providing technical direction and solutions for embedded HW as well as power supply strategies for both mains and solar driven products, creating and communicating a compelling vision for change, leading the execution of strategic initiatives with MDM across to secure cross transformational change, transforming innovational balance in the hardware portfolio to have better balance with Technology, NPL, Cost out, Sustainability, and Quality and maintenance tasks.
In addition, you will define HW architecture and sourcing strategy, encourage and inspire team members to take ownership of architectural decisions, improve operational efficiency via automation, reduce complexity in the product program, monitor progress, adjust tactical plans accordingly, secure data-driven decisions in portfolio, and be responsible for end-to-end hardware lifecycle from idea to technology, NPL, cost out & sustainability optimization as well as continuous delivery.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately €120,000 - €150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, pension plan, and generous vacation time.
