Job Summary

The U.S. Embassy & Consulates in France is seeking a highly skilled Project Management Specialist to join our team in Bogota, Colombia. As a Cooperating Country National (CCN) professional, you will lead and manage initiatives related to local governance within the USAID/Colombia Peacebuilding and Governance Office (PGO).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects related to local governance, including monitoring of indicators.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote peace implementation in Colombia.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders to build capacity and support governance initiatives.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to project teams.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform project decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in international development, public policy, public administration, political science, law, economics, or related field.
  • At least five years of progressively responsible experience in governance or a related field in Colombia.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle stress and competing demands.
  • Level IV English (spoken and written) and Level IV Spanish (spoken and written) language proficiency.
