Key Responsibilities

The Premium Hub-Centre of Expertise (CoE) within the SAP Adoption Services Center is dedicated to delivering specialized support in application and technology domains for our MaxAttention, Active Attention, and Value Assurance clientele. As a Senior Consultant in Transportation Management and Logistics, you will assess the End-to-End Supply Chain Execution Process for our international clients and communicate your insights and recommendations to IT leaders and executives. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Facilitating functional design validation workshops to identify potential risks and offer suggestions for enhancing business processes, system automation, and safeguarding investments. Senior Consultants are expected to address critical business process design challenges and collaborate closely with SAP development to deliver best practices and reference architectures to clients.
  • Supporting client implementations by providing architectural guidance and best practices for business processes, while also suggesting improvements to enhance customer productivity and satisfaction.
  • Conducting thorough root cause analyses using technical and programming expertise, delivering solutions, and providing services in complex environments across various fields. This may involve managing on-premise systems, public and private cloud environments, and troubleshooting issues across diverse landscapes.
  • Leading customer escalations and driving critical issues to resolution, thereby fostering a trusted advisor relationship with clients. The SAP CoE offers a comprehensive range of services covering planning, implementation, operations, upgrades, and ongoing enhancements to ensure optimal performance of SAP solutions.
  • Acting as De-escalation Architects to identify major issues, create and implement action plans, and analyze system landscapes and technical challenges, as well as core business processes across all applications.
  • Developing expertise and support services for new products/components such as Machine Learning and IoT, while creating concepts for service/business processes and product development. Providing knowledge transfer both internally and externally.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Essential:
    • 4 to 8+ years of experience with SAP products in key areas such as SAP Transportation Management embedded in SAP S/4HANA, SAP SCM, SAP Logistics Business Network, or SAP Global Track and Trace.
    • Strong customer focus and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to perform under pressure, with a tolerance for ambiguity and a capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment. A self-starter who can deliver high-quality content within tight deadlines.
    • Exceptional presentation skills, with the capability to design, prepare, and deliver impactful presentations.
    • Confident, communicative, and diplomatic; possessing strategic and analytical thinking, along with coordination and decision-making skills.
    • A collaborative team player with proactive networking skills, results-oriented, and eager to learn.
    • Willingness to travel up to 30% within the Americas region.
    • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, or engineering is preferred.
  • Additional:
    • Technical and development experience in ABAP, Java, BOPF, SAP FPM, and Cloud Foundry is advantageous.

Language Proficiency

  • English - Proficient in both spoken and written forms, as support will be provided to clients across the Americas, including LATAM and North America.
  • Spanish - Proficiency required.
  • Portuguese - Optional.
