Key Responsibilities

The Premium Hub-Centre of Expertise (CoE) within the SAP Adoption Services Center delivers specialized knowledge in application and technology sectors to provide top-tier support to our MaxAttention, Active Attention, and Value Assurance clientele. As a Senior Consultant in Transportation Management and Logistics, you will evaluate the complete Supply Chain Execution Process for our international clients and communicate your insights and recommendations to IT leaders and executives. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Facilitating functional design validation workshops, identifying potential risks, and offering suggestions to enhance business operations, system automation, and investment protection. Senior Consultants are expected to address critical business process design challenges and collaborate closely with SAP development to deliver best practices and reference architectures to clients.
  • Assisting in customer implementations, providing architectural advice, and sharing best practices for business processes, while suggesting ways to enhance customer productivity and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Conducting in-depth root cause analyses using technical and programming expertise, delivering solutions, and providing services in complex environments across various fields. This intricate landscape may include on-premise systems, public and private clouds, and troubleshooting issues across diverse platforms.
  • Leading critical customer escalations and driving urgent issues to resolution. Through these efforts, SAP and CoE cultivate a trusted advisor relationship with clients. SAP CoE offers a comprehensive range of services covering planning, implementation, operations, upgrades, and ongoing improvements, ensuring optimal performance of SAP solutions and maximum value for our customers.
  • Acting as De-escalation Architects to pinpoint major issues, create and implement action plans, and analyze system landscapes and technical challenges, as well as core business processes across all applications.
  • Developing expert knowledge and support services for new products/components such as Machine Learning and IoT, creating concepts for service/business processes/product development, and facilitating knowledge transfer (both internally and externally).

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Essential:
    • 4 to 8+ years of experience with SAP products in key areas such as SAP Transportation Management embedded in SAP S/4HANA, SAP SCM, SAP Logistics Business Network, or SAP Global Track and Trace.
    • Strong customer focus and problem-solving abilities.
    • Capacity to perform under pressure, with a tolerance for ambiguity and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Must be a self-starter capable of delivering high-quality content within tight deadlines.
    • Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to design, prepare, and deliver impactful presentations.
    • Confident, communicative, and diplomatic demeanor; strategic and analytical thinking; strong coordination and decision-making skills.
    • Team-oriented, proactive networking skills, results-driven, and eager to learn.
    • Willingness to travel 30% within the Americas Region.
    • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, or engineering is preferred.
  • Additional:
    • Technical and development experience in ABAP, Java, BOPF, SAP FPM, Cloud Foundry.

Language Proficiency

  • English - Proficient in spoken and written form, as support will be provided to clients across the Americas, including LATAM and North America (US & Canada).
  • Spanish – Required.
  • Portuguese – Optional.
