Operations Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Coordinator to join our team at Stolt-Nielsen. As an Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in planning and executing logistics requirements for the successful export and/or import of orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute and implement operational activities according to customer requests and management direction, maximizing profitable moves and minimizing costs while maintaining a high quality level of service.
  • Prepare or arrange documentation necessary for the proper handling of container moves throughout the entire supply chain.
  • Maintain operations files in accordance with STC policies and update systems correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Communicate consistently and timely of shipment progress/movement, cost details, equipment related matters, and issues to customers, vendors, 3rd parties, and STC's worldwide network of offices.
  • Work with Accounting and Management to resolve, clarify, and correct questioned or outstanding vendor and customer invoices.
  • Participate in customer meetings and liaise with operational account managers, supervisors, and sales on matters affecting commercial relationships.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in operations and logistics industry experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Suite.
