Key Responsibilities
Your primary role will involve supporting, planning, and executing financial, operational, internal control, and IT audits on a global scale. You will also undertake special projects as required. This position offers significant visibility and interaction with leaders across various business units, fostering creativity and providing ample opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
How You Will Make a Difference
- Assist the audit team in the planning and execution of financial and operational audits.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of Zimmer Biomet's operations, identifying key risks and understanding industry dynamics.
- Establish strong partnerships with key stakeholders to deliver exceptional audits and valuable recommendations for process and risk management enhancements.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in internal and compliance auditing, including relevant US GAAP and SOX regulations.
- Proactively report on project progress and milestones.
- Follow up with process owners to ensure timely implementation of corrective actions, escalating issues as necessary.
- Contribute to the implementation of technology and initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the internal audit function.
- Commit to personal development through training, seminars, and obtaining relevant certifications.
- Comprehensive understanding of auditing standards, control practices, SOX requirements, and US GAAP.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Skilled in conducting root cause analysis.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and quick to learn new software.
- Experience with Data Analytics or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) in audit engagements is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the SAP ERP system is a plus, including the ability to extract and analyze basic reports.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, including public accounting or external audit with a major firm.
- Experience in a manufacturing or healthcare setting or with a global publicly traded company in an internal audit or finance capacity is preferred.
- CPA certification or parts passed.
- CIA or CFE certifications are a plus.
- Exposure to Agile Auditing and Data Analytics is preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% globally, primarily within North America.
- Occasional travel to EMEA or Asia may be necessary.
