As a Tax Accountant, you will be part of our team that works towards making this vision a reality.

About the Role

This role requires a proactive and communicative individual who can work as part of a team. You will participate in accounts payable processes, complete monthly analysis and reconciliations of Tax Accounts, and ensure the correct application of laws and regulations.

You will also be responsible for following up with outsourcing companies to ensure Network WCO compliance with local taxes and withholdings, such as Sales, VAT, import tax, withholding taxes, foreign withholdings, legal documents, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Accounts Payable Process.
  • Ensure WHT application confirms correct application.
  • Follow up on process implementations with outsourcing companies to ensure Network WCO compliance.
  • Ensure all tax and statutory obligations are met on time, without fines or penalties.
  • Monthly analysis and reconciliations of Tax accounts.
  • Knowledge of Transfer Pricing international regulations and applications in Colombia.
  • Ensure correct law application, support information, and save documentation properly.
  • Implement and maintain SAP configuration for taxes and withholdings.
  • Contribute to month-end closing.
  • Check and register accruals and balances analysis in SAP.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Coordinate activities with external resources, training on tax activities.
  • Support E-invoicing review and projects.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Studies completed in accounting.
  • Experience of more than 3 years in tax management in Colombia.
  • Taxes Management.
  • Advance written and spoken English.
  • A specialization on Taxes Accountability will be a plus.
