About the Department:

The Delivery Management team is dedicated to ensuring that all software implementations and deliveries are executed seamlessly, allowing our clients in the airline and travel sectors to operate efficiently with Amadeus. We also offer ongoing support and monitoring to maintain the stability and performance of our Production environment.

Role Overview:

  • This position is ideal for individuals who possess a blend of technical and commercial acumen. If you are eager to tackle intricate functional challenges and convey essential business requirements to both clients and internal teams, this role is tailored for you.
  • As a customer-facing role, you will ensure alignment between the client and Amadeus teams throughout the implementation process, providing clear updates on project progress.
  • Your efforts will directly influence the client's initial experience with new functionalities, significantly impacting their overall satisfaction and relationship with Amadeus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead critical customer projects from initiation to completion, focusing on piloting new industry features and developing functional expertise (e.g., NDC-X for Airlines, EDIFACT projects, Anytime Merchandising).
  • Act as the primary coordinator for clients during the implementation phase.
  • Provide timely and accurate updates on project statuses.
  • Facilitate the functional transition to regional implementation teams, enabling them to operate independently for ongoing project activities.
  • Represent the department in client meetings and address significant functional or operational challenges in collaboration with Solutions and Development teams.
  • Drive projects to successful and timely conclusions.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A degree in IT, Business, or a related field is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Project Management is desirable.
  • Experience in the airline or travel industry for a minimum of 3 years is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills are essential.
  • Building trust-based relationships with airline partners is crucial, even when difficult conversations are necessary.
