Medical Recruitment Specialist for Global Growth

We are seeking an experienced Medical Recruitment Specialist to join our team in the Americas region. As a key member of our Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering talent acquisition services, as well as owning the recruitment of several positions across the Americas region.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing Talent Acquisition teams, with both junior and senior roles. They will also have experience in full-cycle recruitment, ideally as part of a shared service team, specifically in the Americas region. Strong communication skills, ability to adapt to different styles and at different levels, and a customer-first mindset are essential for this role.

As a Medical Recruitment Specialist, you will be part of a strong and dedicated HR community, helping Convatec build an inclusive culture and finding the best diverse talent for our key vacancies. You will report to the Shared Services Talent Acquisition Global Lead and will have a hybrid schedule, working remotely and from our Bogota office.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting service delivery with and through a team supporting talent acquisition activities
  • Line management of team members, allocating and managing workloads across the Americas Talent Acquisition team
  • Allocating roles to the talent acquisition team where appropriate, managing any escalations from the team linked to hard-to-fill roles or business critical recruitment projects across the Americas
  • Managing the team's performance, ensuring the team is engaged and motivated
  • Leading recruitment efforts, including briefing calls for new vacancies, sourcing and shortlisting candidates for hiring managers to support hiring the best diverse talent, coordinating the selection process, aligning and extending offers to successful candidates, and talent pooling to create pipelines for key future vacancies
  • Covering Service Now tickets for Talent Acquisition queries or incidents
  • Ensuring relevant data is captured on KPIs for talent acquisition and pulling together weekly, monthly, and annual reporting for the Americas region

Estimated salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
