At Mitel, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the security posture of our organization, enabling businesses to connect and collaborate effectively while ensuring the protection of sensitive information. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving success within our global operations.
Position Overview:
Your responsibilities will include the fortification of solutions, meticulous documentation, adherence to security protocols, and management of vulnerabilities, alongside conducting penetration tests and presenting comprehensive technical reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain documentation related to the security configurations of infrastructure and software solutions, following manufacturer guidelines.
- Create, document, and uphold processes for addressing vulnerabilities in line with platform hardening requirements.
- Ensure the implementation of controls that provide authentication, authorization, and audit capabilities.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments using management tools across all hardware and software components.
- Establish processes for mitigating vulnerabilities in accordance with client policies.
- Ensure that device management is conducted through secure channels such as SSH and/or HTTPS, prohibiting unsecured connections.
- Maintain personal and non-transferable management of operational credentials, avoiding the use of generic accounts.
- Ensure proper segregation of duties and privileges for users involved in platform administration.
- Conduct well-documented ethical hacking exercises periodically to identify platform weaknesses and provide actionable recommendations.
- Guarantee that all networked devices are authenticated using the 802.1x protocol.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in privacy management and cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated knowledge of network hardware, software, vulnerability management tools, and ethical hacking practices.
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills to engage effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Proficiency in English is advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical abilities paired with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to diverse stakeholders at various levels.
- Demonstrated ownership and accountability in decision-making and actions.
