Job Summary
This role contributes to the overall success of the Enterprise Content Solutions globally, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.
Key Responsibilities

- Champion a customer-centric culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Technical Expertise
- Develop solutions to resolve complex, multi-faceted problems to meet the business needs by applying technological knowledge.
- Implementation Strategies
- Participate in the production of implementation strategies through the creation of functional specification documents to support users and presentation of proposed changes to applicable international audiences.
- Support and Development
- Provide on-call (after hours) and weekend production support on a rotational basis.
- Participate in design, development, testing, and development of new solutions or enhancements to existing applications.
- Risk Management
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be incorporated into day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Operational Excellence
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk.

Technical Requirements

- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in application development, testing, and support using SharePoint (Online/OnPremises) and related technologies.
- Good understanding of design patterns and best practices.
- Experience with build and deployment tools such as Azure DevOps / Visual Studio Team System.
- Language fluency in English and Spanish B1.
- A recognized undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related discipline.
- Desirable to have Microsoft Certifications (SharePoint / SPFX / PowerApps / Microsoft 365 Fundamentals).
Working Conditions
- Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
