Are you looking for a challenging role that combines cloud architecture and DevOps expertise? Equinix Emea is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Colombia. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your skills in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure solutions on multiple cloud platforms.

About the Role

We are committed to providing a collaborative and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and development. As a Senior Staff Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to define cloud strategies that align with business goals, developing and implementing automated deployment pipelines for multi-cloud environments, and automating provisioning using Terraform (IaC).

The ideal candidate will have experience in Cloud Architecture and Design, both GCP and AWS, as well as knowledge of various cloud services in GCP (Dataflow, composer, Cloud Function, BigQuery, AppEngine, LB, and GKE) and AWS. You should also be proficient in DevOps tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure solutions on multiple cloud platforms (GCP and AWS)
  • Develop and implement automated deployment pipelines for multi-cloud environments
  • Automate provisioning using Terraform (IaC)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud strategies that align with business goals
  • Implement security best practices for multi-cloud environments, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven years of relevant experience in Cloud Architecture and Design, both GCP and AWS
  • Experience in various cloud services in GCP (Dataflow, composer, Cloud Function, BigQuery, AppEngine, LB, and GKE) and AWS
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience working in large-scale enterprise production systems
  • Availability to work in the office twice a week

Equinix offers a competitive salary of $100,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and a dynamic work environment.
