About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Technical Writer to lead our documentation efforts for Indeed's Catalyst tool suite. This is a challenging role that requires creating consistent, user-friendly documentation for various tools and platforms.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing training materials, platform notification standards, and bridging localization gaps for Recruit employees on Indeed's tools. Your expertise will help us improve the onboarding process and make our technology more accessible to users worldwide.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing or related fields;
- Proficiency in tools like Confluence, MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or Microsoft Word;
- Experience writing in Markdown for documentation;
- Familiarity with Git workflows and version control systems for managing documentation changes;
- Experience using the command line for basic tasks;
- Experience writing to a style guide, preferably the Google Developer Style Guide;
- Experience with CMS platforms to manage and update documentation efficiently;
- Able to understand and document complex technical processes and systems;
- Experience creating user-focused documentation, including FAQs, onboarding guides, and in-app help text;
- Upper-Intermediate English level.
