Job Description
The ideal candidate will have 1.5-3 years of experience in data engineering or a related field, with proficiency in SQL and experience working with Shopify data schema, BigQuery, and GitHub. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing SQL queries in BigQuery to support data analysis and transformation tasks, building and maintaining assertions in Dataform for data quality assurance, and ingesting data into BigQuery using Airbyte.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize SQL queries in BigQuery to support data analysis and transformation tasks.
- Build and maintain assertions in Dataform for data quality assurance.
- Ingest data into BigQuery using Airbyte.
- Clean and transform data to enable further visualization and reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency by merging data from multiple sources, including Shopify, Meta, Google Ads, and Klaviyo.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
- Proficiency in SQL, with experience writing analytical queries (window functions, CTEs, UDFs).
- Experience working with Shopify data schema, BigQuery, and GitHub.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on data quality.
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per year
