As a Senior Social Impact Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work on socially useful projects that make a meaningful difference in people's lives. We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Environmental Consulting | Sustainable Investment Advisory (SIA) team in Bogotá, Colombia. Your role will involve developing and growing the business in Colombia and the Americas South Geography, working closely with the Advisory team in San Francisco, Houston, New York, and the Americas Region. The SIA advisory team is a center of excellence at Arup, supporting the acceleration of sustainable, resilient, and inclusive investments, securing access to sustainable infrastructure.
About the RoleThis position is an exciting opportunity to work on socially sensitive and sustainable solutions to unique engineering challenges. You will identify and develop innovative solutions to social impacts and risks, independently evaluating, selecting, and applying domestic and international E&S standards related to FPICs, resettlement, and land acquisition processes. You will also coordinate with local regulatory agencies, attend meetings with clients, conduct field visits, and manage proposals and reports.
About YouWe are looking for a highly experienced professional with a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Sociology, Economics, Political Science, or any Social Science-related profession. You should have minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure projects or environmental management, with demonstrated experience consulting with communities and knowledge of international and national regulatory frameworks. Excellent communication skills are essential for team-based working, and you must possess excellent written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills in English and Spanish.

Salary RangeThe estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
