Global Payroll Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Payroll Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance organization, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate payment of employees and compliance with current country legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with external payroll vendors and ensure timely execution of standard and complex payroll tasks in accordance with defined processes, schedules, and service levels.
- Review and validate information necessary for payroll processing, including hirings, terminations, vacations, car allowances, mobility, holidays worked, commissions, medical leaves, absences, etc.
- Execute personnel payment accurately and timely in accordance with current country legislation.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws by executing payment of social security, retirement savings plans, and income taxes.
- Present required documentation during audits or inspections to comply with legislation and company guidelines.
- Conduct standard and complex audits of personnel data, programs, and processes.
- Provide consulting and support services to employees and the HR community on general and complex payroll topics.
- Process inquiries and provide support through ticket self-service, email, and telephone.
- Run payroll for assigned groups of employees.
- Suggest improvements to payroll processes and system utilization.
- Support reconciliation of financial accounts with payroll results.
- Collaborate with local data management teams and payroll accounting specialists to review monthly accounting documents.
- Timely report and prepare declarations, ensuring proper communication with tax authorities, social security, and other state institutions.
- Monitor employee payments.
- E nsure correct account assignment of wage types in SAP HR – Success Factor (EC).
- Manage changes to systems and processes related to payroll management to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to corporate policies.
- Provide input for policy changes and regulations.
- Support projects and modifications of systems and processes to ensure correct implementation of regulations and adherence to corporate guidelines.
- Manage tickets regarding inquiries, requests, and complaints about employee payroll or business markets.
