Financial Analyst II

World Courier de Colombia S.A. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst II to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing various financial analyses, budgeting, and accounting functions for our company and its various sales & business unit functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and maintain analytical dashboards to identify key cost drivers and present reports and findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed analytical reports for various P&L drivers and lead efforts to drive cost savings initiatives.
- Track and review P&L results during monthly financial close and post relevant journal entries.
- Analyze variances to plan and prior year and prepare illustrative slides for Monthly Business Review presentation.
- Play a key role in annual budgeting process with a focus on payroll and direct costs.
- Assist with data validation, preparation, and analysis for payroll and headcount.
- Collaborate and partner with business segments teams to gather and compile data needed to conduct analyses, identify trends, and/or address senior management requests.
- Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, data analysis, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Normally requires a minimum of 2+ years of directly related and progressively responsible experience or a Master's degree.
- Knowledge of various finance areas such as cost analysis, plan development, variance explanations, and monthly close.
- Experience with creating and updating budgeting models within Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to follow and interpret profit and loss statements.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office with heavy emphasis in Excel.
- Experience working with large datasets within Microsoft Excel.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Excel tools and formulas including pivot tables, graphs, charts, vlookups, sumifs, if statements.
- Experience with PowerBI.
- Previous experience with SAP preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
- Advanced English communication skills is a must.
