Position Overview
We are seeking top talent in the industry to facilitate Bizagi's rapid expansion across Latam. As a Tax and Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting local tax operations and accounting processes in accordance with the company's policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate registration of accounts payable to suppliers.
- Manage and oversee fixed asset control.
- Input all financial data accurately.
- Analyze monthly financial information.
- Prepare detailed expense reports.
- Conduct monthly direct tax account reconciliations and necessary adjusting journal entries.
- Assist with local and corporate tax audits.
- Calculate various taxes (ICA, VAT, Rete-fuente, etc.).
- Prepare reports for the DIAN and municipalities (medios magneticos).
- Compile tax returns and supporting documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in local taxation law, including tax audits, compliance, and reporting.
- Knowledge of IFRS.
- Familiarity with US GAAP is desirable.
- Experience with Workday ERP is a plus.
