About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all facets of engagement, managing numerous engagements simultaneously, and coordinating the interaction of clients and the engagement team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance and counsel to clients, acting as a trusted business advisor.
  • Supervise and oversee individuals or teams in performing tasks, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Identify and resolve complex accounting and tax issues, working closely with the engagement partner to ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform thorough reviews of tax working papers, ensuring compliance with firm policies and professional standards.
  • Develop and implement time-saving ideas and solutions, utilizing technical skills to drive efficiency.
  • Train and mentor others in technical matters, promoting knowledge sharing and growth.
  • Maintain a strong network of contacts, managing day-to-day relations with bankers, attorneys, and clients through targeted business, professional, industry, and social activities.
  • Foster a positive team culture, promoting enthusiasm, good morale, and a sense of partnership among staff.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in US Taxes, with a strong track record of success.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep technical expertise and a solid reputation in the field.
  • Ability to research and resolve significant accounting and tax issues, with a keen eye for detail.
