About the Role

CSG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex legal agreements and related amendments in Spanish and English for the CSG Americas region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Legal Agreement Management: Review, draft, and negotiate complex legal agreements and related amendments, commercial agreements, and RFPs within the applicable region.
  • Legal Advice and Counsel: Provide legal advice and counsel to all levels of corporate management in support of the company's operations in Latin America.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and risk management policies to minimize and limit corporate liability, manage risk, and optimize value of contracts.
  • Regulatory Oversight: Oversee and monitor changes and compliance with applicable statutes and regulations, review pertinent laws and regulations.
  • Communication and Training: Create trainings, business legal reports, and other communications and effectively present information to senior management.
  • Alternative Actions: Recommend alternative actions as required to conform with corporate policies and strategies.
  • Outside Counsel Oversight: Oversee outside counsel in administrative and judicial proceedings; represent the company in administrative and judicial proceedings not handled by outside counsel.
  • Employment Law Support: Assist management with employment law concerns, contracts, claims, and creating company policies.
Requirements
  • Colombian Qualified Attorney
  • 1+ Year of Relevant Legal Experience in a SaaS-based organization.
  • Experience in Drafting and Negotiating Legal Agreements
  • Strong Analytic Capabilities and superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective Negotiator with strong business acumen and ability to serve as a business advisor.
  • Ability to Work Independently and efficiently, manage multiple projects simultaneously under time pressure and consistently meet deadlines with high-quality work product.
  • Sound Judgment and excellent interpersonal skills with proven experience in relationship building and partnering.
  • Ability to Work Across Multiple Product Offerings and advise in general corporate legal disciplines with a technology focus, on items such as licensing, privacy, compliance, and human resources.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in a business environment.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel internationally/domestically up to 10%.
