Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Team Lead to join our Data Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and mentoring a group of 2-4 engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and mentor a team of 2-4 engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality data products and solutions.
- Work closely with Data Leadership and stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver solutions to business problems.
- Build relationships with stakeholders to best support their needs and ensure timely delivery of impactful work.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of engineering solutions, either through direct work or technical guidance.
- Solid experience with data platform tooling (SQL, ETL, data warehouse, and dbt).
- Strong experience as an engineer or developer within data teams.
- Solid understanding of engineering development principles and best practices.
- Solid communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Inspires others, instills confidence, and good comprehension of team dynamics, coaching, and mentoring.
- Great communication, project management skills, and ability to lead technical discussions.
- Strong ability to work independently and self-guided, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn and develop.
- Writes and speaks fluent English.
- Leading a distributed team of engineers, providing regular feedback, coaching, and mentoring.
