About the Location
On Colombia's Caribbean coast, in the historic city of Cartagena, Four Seasons has revitalized a collection of landmark buildings dating back to the 16th century. Experience the authentic charm of the Getsemaní neighbourhood, where timeless style infuses the 131 accommodations, including 27 suites. Connect to the lively social scene in four restaurants and lounges. Entertain in two ballrooms. Then unwind at the Spa, Fitness Centre, and two rooftop pools.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work directly with the Director of Public Relations and liaison between the Public Relations Agency to assist with the execution of public relations and marketing strategies, including media visits and coverage, tracking of all related efforts, and other initiatives as directed.
Job Responsibilities
- Create curated content to amplify key messages and tell a story consistent with our hotel and Four Seasons brand identity while managing and monitoring the hotel's presence on Social Media networks (primarily Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter) in conjunction with input and support from the Director of Marketing.
- Curate and create content for Twitter, LinkedIn, and other communities outside of IG and Facebook in conjunction with input and support from the Director of Marketing.
- Responsible for guest and community engagement on relevant social media channels.
- Utilize available programs to integrate proper User Generated Content.
- Manage online and social reputation for Hotel and Restaurants, manage content and implementation for all (integrated) social media initiatives and web content with DOM/Sales Team and DORM.
- Manage social media analytics, monitoring tools, and Hotel results and findings.
- Contribute regularly to Corporate social media initiatives and implement local social media partnerships for cross-promotional opportunities.
- Monitor the hotel's presence (Hotel and Restaurant) on all relevant websites, including review sites such as Revinate, Trip Advisor, Facebook, etc., in addition to other online communities, ensuring content is accurate and updated according to the Minimum Operating Standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- College graduate.
- Proven track record in digital marketing.
- At least two years of social media and online marketing experience; PR and hospitality experience beneficial.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communications skills, with a strong sense of quality and a creative mindset.
- Attention to detail.
- Extremely organized.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal formats.
- Demonstrated knowledge of mobile, emerging, and social media applications.
