**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dynamic Social Media Community Builder to join our remote team. This role involves working closely with a North American customer base, particularly in major U.S. cities like New York, California, Florida, and Chicago.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Act as the voice of Norse Interiors by creating engaging social media content across platforms like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts, and Google My Business.
  • Identify and participate in online communities focused on interior design, providing guidance without using hard sales tactics.
  • Create content that resonates with customers, using our archive and social media trends as inspiration.
  • Stay up-to-date with U.S. interior design trends and culture to ensure relevance in content creation and customer engagement.
  • Maintain flexibility in responding to social media interactions, ensuring timely responses to keep conversations flowing.

**Design Advisor & Customer Support:**

  • Conduct virtual design sessions (3-5 per week) to offer customers aesthetic guidance and technical assistance.
  • Provide quick hand-drawn sketches and create product shopping lists using Norse Interiors and IKEA websites.
  • Follow up with customers after consultations, providing ongoing support until they make a purchase or decide otherwise.
  • Use insights from customer interactions to suggest improvements to products and processes.
  • Be available for pre-scheduled design sessions, which may include occasional evenings or weekends.

**Content Creation & Feedback Loop:**

  • Create tailored social media posts (3-4 per week), adjusting content to suit each platform's style.
  • Engage with the community daily, ensuring 5-10 interactions or replies to maintain active conversations.
  • Evaluate content effectiveness and adapt based on performance, focusing on high engagement levels.

**Compensation:**

  • This role is compensated weekly.
  • Success is measured by content quality and quantity, output, and engagement metrics.

**Requirements:**

  • Fluency in English with excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. culture, humor, and trends within the interior design space.
  • Experience using social media platforms for brand engagement.
  • A passion for interior design and helping customers achieve their design goals.
  • Ability to create quick hand-drawn sketches during consultations.
  • Flexibility in managing a schedule that may include occasional evenings or weekends.

**Estimated Salary Range:** $2,200 USD (dependent on experience and qualifications)
