We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to join our team at DSV Road GmbH. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all operational activities in the warehouse. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, picking, and quality control. You will work closely with our Operations Supervisor to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Additionally, you will be responsible for training new associates on Standard Operating Procedures, mentoring existing associates, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Training new and existing associates on current Standard Operating Procedures, including shipping, receiving, picking, and quality control.

• Supervising and coordinating unloading of inbound shipments, stacking of product, and staging of outbound shipments to maximize productivity.

• Verifying required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers to ensure accurate counts.

• Efficiently and accurately loading orders onto appropriate doors and trailers.

• Researching discrepancies in the shipping and receiving process and reporting findings to the Operations Supervisor.

• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols, and participating in safety meetings.

• Directing the operations of the warehouse work team to achieve prescribed objectives and assisting in labor management tasks.

• Participating in establishing work schedules, ensuring effective implementation, and assigning jobs correctly.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).

• At least 1 year of experience working in a logistics/distribution environment.

• Ability to operate material handling equipment (MHE).

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

• Current or prior MHE certification.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $22-$24 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
