Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Functional Associate to join our team at ScotiaTech in Bogotá, Colombia. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of our software applications.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test cases and scripts, to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects, and ensure that all testing is conducted in accordance with governing regulations and internal policies.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to development teams on software quality assurance methodologies and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of process improvements and recommendations to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our Quality Assurance team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, including Jira, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Effective communication skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to resolve escalated issues effectively.
  • A degree in computer science, IT Business/Management, or engineering-related discipline is desirable.
