The After Hours Logistician role is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team at Core Logistics Brokerage.
As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, building relationships with carriers, and ensuring seamless logistics solutions are delivered to our clients.
You will oversee the execution of assigned customer loads during after-hours shifts, addressing any unexpected issues that arise outside regular business hours.
This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversight of assigned customer loads during after-hours shifts
- Primary point of contact for customers and carriers during late shifts
- Negotiation of competitive customer rates based on load specifics and market conditions
- Drive informed and collaborative operations in support of assigned customers
- Accurate and timely billing, inclusive of rates, fees, and fines
- Maintenance of organized and updated records of overnight orders, customer profiles, and issue logs
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for logistics and customer service.
Key qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels
- Minimum of 1 year logistics experience with proven track record of success
