Job Description:
The Foreign Trade Coordinator CARICAM role at Mondelēz International is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of import and export operations, while maintaining compliance with government regulations and procedures. This position plays a critical role in guaranteeing business success in the region, as we continuously engage in international business activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute import and export operations to ensure timely delivery of goods at the lowest landed cost.
- Collaborate with business partners to manage effective logistics, provide timely solutions, and execute tasks efficiently.
- Manage third-party logistics vendors, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to perform and deliver the requirements of this role.
- Prepare documentation (invoice, packing list, bills of lading), manage customs, track and trace, claims management, invoice billing management, compliance execution (HSE, quality, risk management), tenders support, and third-party performance management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
- Senior operations experience in foreign trade, imports/exports within a large multinational company.
- Experience leading teams and knowledge of foreign trade regulations for Central America.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Data analysis skills, including advanced Excel and SAP experience.
- Power BI and SIDOM are desirable.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
