Main Responsibilities

The Event Specialist LATAM NORTH will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and logistics of educational events in the region. This includes:

  • Coordinating event deployment and ensuring smooth execution
  • Providing operational and administrative support for event activities
  • Managing event participants and maintaining event records
  • Supporting events execution on-site as a backup to Event Owners
  • Facilitating collaboration within Operational Teams
  • Managing local agencies and suppliers
  • Acting as cost expert for events and managing expenses
  • Driving invoice handling and P&L reporting
  • Managing CME accreditation and compliance approval
  • Managing event closing and final reconciliation
Accountability

The Event Specialist LATAM NORTH will be accountable for:

  • Assigned events within the cluster
  • Budget management for assigned events
Interfaces

The Event Specialist LATAM NORTH will interface with:

  • Cluster Leads
  • Event Owners
  • Local agencies and suppliers
  • Event participants
Main Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Event Specialist LATAM NORTH should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., hospitality, event management, public relations, communications, marketing)
  • Proven record of professional experience in event organization or project management (3-5 years)
  • Experience in medical events/course organization is an advantage
