We are seeking an accomplished Senior Sustainability Consultant - Supply Chain Expert to join our team at Elevate. As a key member of our advisory team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our clients' supply chain sustainability and social compliance efforts forward.
Our ideal candidate is a seasoned sustainability professional with 5-7 years of experience in the field of supply chain management, ethical sourcing, and supplier due diligence. You will have a proven track record of success in assessing suppliers' social and environmental compliance performance, evaluating internal management systems, and providing recommendations and training for improvement.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of social and human rights due diligence regulations and frameworks, as well as environmental, labour, and health and safety regulations. You will also have experience working with suppliers to address human rights issues, including child and forced labour, foreign migrant workers related issues, gender and discrimination, harassment, etc.
As a Senior Sustainability Consultant - Supply Chain Expert, you will lead projects with factories, farms, vendors, and clients on social compliance and labour and human rights issues. You will be responsible for reviewing suppliers' compliance performance, evaluating internal management systems, and providing practical recommendations and training for improvement aligned with local laws and best practices.
You will be accountable for timely and high-quality service delivery, project staffing, efficient workplans, and client management, taking corrective action as needed, to fill any shortfall at any stage. You will also have an annual sales target, set in advance each year, leading commercial meetings and contributing to proposal writing and budgeting and RfP management.
