About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reservoir Engineering Applications Consultant to join our team at Quorum Software. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and solutions to complex business problems related to our reservoir engineering software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Support: Analyze and recreate complex issues, triage problems to provide detailed descriptions for coordination with engineering teams.
  2. Client Interaction: Work with clients daily to troubleshoot issues, test solutions, provide resolutions, and escalate as necessary.
  3. System Knowledge: Answer quick questions on system functionality and/or configuration.
  4. Customer Relations: Understand the importance of customer relations and support processes.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work with various team members to resolve reported issues.
  6. Documentation: Create supporting documentation that clearly demonstrates issue resolution and/or enhancement solves the reported business problem.
  7. Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks required to track requests through their lifecycle.
  8. Knowledge Base: Curate Knowledge Base content.
  9. Software Development: Participate in the configuration, enhancement, and testing phases associated with software development and implementation.
  10. Deliverables: Ensure successful completion of personal and team deliverables.
  11. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Reservoir Engineering, Business, or related disciplines with an analytical component.
  2. Travel: Must be willing to travel up to a specified percentage during the week.
  3. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and/or analytical skills.
  4. Technology: Ability to embrace and leverage new technology.
  5. Database Systems: Basic understanding of database systems, data models, data migrations, and experience using PLSQL.
  6. Software Development: Basic understanding of software development.
  7. Communication: Very good written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Critical Thinking: Aptitude to build on concepts.
  9. Continuous Learning: Strong desire for continuous learning.
  10. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills.
  11. Language: Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
Additional Details

The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver's License Verification, and Passport/ID validation. Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Colombia is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position. The successful candidate will be required to ensure they maintain and renew any visas or permits that grant employment eligibility where applicable. Current professional card or registration in Colombia (if applicable): The successful candidate will be required to present their professional card or registration information if the role is deemed to be regulated. Onboarding Medical: The successful candidate will be required to undergo an onboarding medical examination prior to commencement of employment, in accordance with Colombian legislation.
