About the Salesforce Solution Consultant Role

The Salesforce Solution Consultant will drive solution architecture in sales pursuits, serving as a trusted client advisor and ensuring consistent delivery for clients in the Salesforce space. This role requires a subject matter expert in Salesforce who can drive client delivery, proposals, new business opportunities, and knowledge management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate client business problems into solution requirements through interviews and analysis.
  • Guide clients through the implementation of Salesforce solutions, leveraging expertise in configuration, data modeling, and integration.
  • Lead technical teams in Salesforce project delivery, ensuring quality solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Design and implement elegant, innovative Salesforce solutions that optimize business processes and leverage Salesforce platforms and products.
  • Provide detailed estimates of solution feasibility and functionality, articulating benefits and risks.
  • Develop custom development specifications and drive delivery and testing of functionality by development resources.
  • Provide expert-level technical assistance to developers and design test plans to ensure quality solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with new Salesforce product and technical capabilities, providing expertise during sales efforts and estimating technical level of effort.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership through various mediums, such as publishing, public speaking, and client presentations.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of CRM industry experience, with a minimum of 4 years of Salesforce platform experience.
  • CPQ experience is preferred but not required.
  • Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate business processes across disparate systems.
  • Excellent client-facing, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong business analysis skills to uncover business processes and procedures.
  • Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire.
