Key Responsibilities- Champion a Customer-Focused Culture: Deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge to drive business growth.
- Supervise and Coordinate Testing: Oversee testing for projects/releases, assess UAT projects, and design UAT test plans to ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Assess and Mitigate Risk: Evaluate priorities for various projects, take decisive action as required, and make recommendations to release code to Production.
- Transfer Knowledge and Expertise: Provide hands-on training on systems, hardware, environment, product, standards, and methodology to test team members.
- Work with Development Teams: Collaborate with individual project teams to ensure business and technical requirements are fulfilled, and contribute recommendations and assessments to ongoing project reviews.
- Forecast and Monitor Resource Demands: Forecast workday estimates, monitor resource demands, and escalate resource shortfalls or conflicts as required.
- Identify Opportunities for Improvement: Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance personal breadth and depth of expertise, and recommend enhancements or modifications to UAT processes to improve overall department efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proven Work Experience: 2+ years of demonstrable, practical hands-on experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong Knowledge of Software QA Methodologies: Experience with software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on Experience with Automated Testing Tools: Experience with automated testing tools, including HP ALM, and a strong understanding of performance and/or security testing.
- Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, and a demonstrated ability to resolve escalated issues effectively.
- Ability to Deal with Ambiguity: Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple competing priorities.
- Desirable Qualifications: A degree in computer science, IT Business/Management, or engineering-related discipline.
- Required Experience: 2+ years of demonstrable, practical hands-on experience as a QA Test, and 1 year of hands-on experience with automation testing tools.
- Language Proficiency: English level B1+ / B2.
