**About Us**

J.S. Held LLC is a leading multi-disciplinary consulting firm that provides expert services to various industries.

We are seeking an experienced Corporate General Counsel to join our Legal team in Colombia, Mexico, Spain, Chile, and globally.

**Job Description**

This role will serve as the first line of defense for resolving legal and business conflicts within the organization, translating and reviewing corporate contracts, agreements, and related materials.

The ideal candidate will work closely with key internal stakeholders to draft, translate, review, administer, update, and address privacy, compliance, and ethics matters.

This role will also be responsible for ensuring regional corporate compliance initiatives keep pace with growth and developments in the law, regulations, and corporate policy in LATAM.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of Legal experience in-house or as a corporate generalist at a professional services or legal firm.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to and interact with stakeholders of varying levels.
  • High-level proficiency in English (C1 level) and Spanish (B2 level).
  • Experience working in a large, global law or related professional services firm, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to take initiative, pivot quickly, and balance legal issues with business risk.
