This role is part of our Core Lab Division, empowering smarter medical and economic decision-making to transform health management at all stages of life. Every day, millions of tests are run on our diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for countless individuals.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Strategic Pricing Manager to ensure the profitability of our business unit through price analysis and Gross Margin Improvement strategies. The ideal candidate will collaborate with finance and procurement teams to determine prices and terms of agreements, implement pricing strategies established by Global Marketing, and provide local feedback to the global tool owner and business process leader.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to determine prices and terms of agreements.
- Implement the pricing strategy established by Global Marketing.
- Provide local feedback to the global tool owner and the business process leader (sales excellence organization).
- Coordinate with contract management to complete contract entry after signing.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A professional background in accounting, administrative, engineering, or financial fields.
- A minimum of 1 year of related work experience in financial analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- Demonstrated understanding of the local healthcare market, including pricing trends and customer needs.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Strong understanding of profit and loss, and how pricing and contract terms affect the profitability of agreements.
- Solid management and negotiation skills.
- Some knowledge of Abbott Diagnostics Division (ADD) product offerings.
- Experience in sales/marketing is a significant advantage.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Knowledge of Salesforce.
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. We also provide excellent benefits, opportunities for growth and development, and a collaborative work environment.
