The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Supply Chain Strategist to join our team in Colombia, Mexico, or Central America. As a key member of our Regional Advisory Team, you will drive the supplier engagement and capacity building practice in the region, focusing on supporting clients to drive continuous improvement of their supply chain, strengthening supplier management systems, and improving social compliance and worker wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects with factories, farms, vendors, and clients on social compliance and labour and human rights issues.
  • Review suppliers' compliance performance, evaluate internal management systems, and provide practical recommendations and training for improvement aligned with local laws and best practices.
  • Develop and deliver plans to achieve and exceed targets set by the company.
  • Maintain a strong technical knowledge of the market you operate in, ensuring you train and coach new and current staff.
  • Contribute to product development and innovation, using your technical knowledge and experience.
  • Keep up-to-date sales and pipeline systems, providing performance summaries and updates on specific project actions.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level in an appropriate subject relevant to the business.
  • A proven track record of 5+ years of work experience in sustainability and supply chain, ethical sourcing, and supplier due diligence.
  • Strong knowledge of social and human rights due diligence regulations and frameworks.
  • Fluent communication skills in English; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to travel frequently to regional office and supplier, vendor, and client locations.
